About the Henderson House Foundation
Our mission: "To provide a stable and long term endowment for the funding of Henderson House Family Crisis Shelter and Services, ensuring the protection and education of victims of sexual assault and domestic violence in Yamhill County."
Henderson House Foundation, a
nonprofit501 (c) (3) corporation, was organized February 1991, for the
sole benefit of support to the Family Crisis Shelter and Services, Inc.,
otherwise known as Henderson House, McMinnville, Oregon. Henderson House
foundation’s principal purpose is to provide funds over and above the
annual funding the Shelter receives from its normal funding sources.
The current Board of Directors consists of 8 persons, one of which was
an original Board member when the corporation was formed.
We currently provide money to help pay the Office mortgage and help with
emergency funds ,but are working towards an endowment that will provide
more needed funding for ongoing programs and services.
