Ecommerce Sales Coordinator

The Ecommerce Sales Coordinator is responsible for a variety of duties that support online sales of items donated to Henderson House that do not serve client needs but are instead intended to generate revenue through resale (such as collectibles).

Responsibilities:

  • Research value of donated items that are identified for resale
  • Photographing items
  • Listing products online for sale
  • Post and manage product photos, descriptions and pricing of items on on-line marketplaces
  • Deliver excellent customer service to online customers
  • Assist in shipping of sold items as needed

Qualifications:    

  • Philosophy compatible to Henderson House Mission Statement, especially to include:
    • Understanding the experience of domestic and sexual violence survivors
    • Understanding of oppression and how it supports interpersonal violence
    • Understanding of the impact of trauma on survivors of violence
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of Henderson House clients
  • Proficient understanding of technology (ie navigating the internet, use of email, and cell phones)
  • Proficient understanding of online sales platforms (ie ebay, craigslist, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work well with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds

This position reports to: Henderson House Development Director

Time commitment:  Minimum of 1 hour per month
