Purpose: The purpose of the Family Crisis Shelter & Services for Yamhill County, Inc. (dba Henderson House) shall be to improve the quality of life by planning, developing and operating programs in response to expressed needs of families and individuals, particularly therapy, shelter, advocacy and community education.

Board terms last for 2 years, but board officer positions last for 1 year terms.


After an individual applies, the board will vote on said individuals application and the board will notify the applicant of final results.


The Board of Directors shall meet no less than ten (10) times per year.


Most board meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month. We gather around 6pm in McMinnville to mingle and then start our meetings around 6:30pm (most meetings last until about 8-9pm).


(Additional committee meetings dates and times would be based on what an individual signs additionally up for.)

Our board bylaws allow for up to 15 board members.
