Take Action To Sustain Survivor Services
Henderson House – in solidarity with our partners across Oregon – implores Oregon lawmakers to prevent a 50% cut in funding for survivor services. Severe underfunding will lead to the immobilization of pathways and resources that empower hundreds of survivors and their families to flee abuse in Oregon. Not only should funding not be cut (without intervention, state funding levels will be cut by 50%), but we are in dire need of additional funding due to expected losses of Federal funds and many other grants being jeopardized. A list of key legislators’ contact info is provided in the right-hand column. Reach out to them today to voice your support for survivors and advocate for full funding.
