Protection Orders

Advocates assist clients in filling out protective orders, based on the client’s circumstances. Advocates provide detailed information regarding the differences between each protective order and allow the client to choose the order that best fits their situation.

Protective order assistance is provided from 9am-10:45am at the Advocacy Center. These protective orders are turned into the court house before 11am and clients are seen by the judge at 1:15pm. Protective order appointments can also be scheduled at later times throughout the day, though the protective order will not be processed until the following day.

Please refer to the Oregon Judicial Branch website for updated times regarding the process of protective orders due to changes with COVID-19.
